Code Meaning Severity Common Symptom
3E Motor or hall sensor fault High The washer fills with water but the drum remains completely stationary — no agitation, tumbling, or spinning occurs. View 4E Water supply error Medium The machine starts a cycle but the drum remains dry or only partially fills, and the cycle stalls. View 5E Drain error Medium After a cycle ends or is interrupted, water remains visible inside the tub and does not drain away. View 8E Over-current protection High The machine stops suddenly during wash or spin and all indicator lights may flash or go dark before displaying 8E. View AE Board communication error Medium Buttons on the washer panel do not respond or the display shows garbled information before settling on the AE code. View DC Door opened during cycle Low The washer stops mid-cycle and the display shows DC, even though no one opened the door or lid. View DE Door lock failure Medium Pressing start does nothing or the machine beeps and displays the dE error code within seconds. View HE Heating circuit error Medium Laundry washed on a warm or hot setting feels cold to the touch when removed, indicating the heater did not engage. View LE Water leak detected High Visible water accumulation on the floor around or beneath the washing machine during or after a cycle. View OE Water overflow detected High Water level rises visibly above the normal fill line and may begin leaking from the door seal or tub rim. View PE Clutch position error Medium The tub fills with water but the agitator or impeller does not move, and the drum does not spin during the spin cycle. View SUD Excessive suds detected Low The cycle time on the display increases as the washer adds extra rinse phases to clear the excess foam. View UE Unbalanced load detected Low The machine halts during the spin phase and the drum slows to a stop, leaving clothes soaking wet. View
